Population Survey of Great Apes and Elephants in Rio Muni, Equatorial Guinea
Assistant Project Leader to Tom Butynski (Eastern Africa Primate Diversity and Conservation Program and BBPP)
This is a Conservation International project that will commence in late 2009/early 2010. We will be leading a comprehensive survey of the distribution, abundance, and conservation status of gorillas, chimpanzees, and elephants in Rio Muni with two Equatoguinean teams. We hope to extend this work to include monkeys and prosimians.
